Rand Paul the Libertarian endorses Thomas Massie to push Ron's Agenda

I have a very serious question. Are people really paying attention to what Rand Paul says and does? Or are they blind loyalists? In a recent article I read Rand Paul Endorsed Thomas Massie in the  4^th district congressional race for congress here in Kentucky.

Here is what he has said:  “I don’t like anyone telling me how to vote.”  Okay, then why endorse?  What would your endorsement mean if you weren’t trying to influence how people vote?  You don’t vote in this district, so what is your endorsement for then?

(Massie spouts how hard he worked hard for Rand Paul and gave him a nice fat check .Is Massie calling in a favor or is Rand just being kind and why?)

Could it be because of this?

 Rand said this at a TEA Party meeting during his senate race here in Kentucky: 

"I know that third party candidates can’t win in KY. Although I’m a Libertarian at heart, I’ve decided to run as a Republican. Once I win I’ll be able to promote my father’s principles and work towards reforming the Republican Party."

Second: “I vote for the candidate who best supports term limits.”  Several of them support term limits, but Mr. Massie says he won’t self-impose.  Marcus Carey said he supports term limits and WOULD self-impose.  Wouldn’t that “better” represent term limits than saying you are for something but then exempting yourself?

Will Paul and Massie follow self-imposed term limits or will they follow their career Politician and Messiah Leader Ron Paul the 30 year Career (do nothing) Politician?  Personally, I believe the latter.

Third:  “I vote for the candidate who best supports balanced budgets.”  Marc Carey has said he not only will call for a balanced budget amendment in his first week in office but also has vowed to take a 30% cut in salary and a 50% cut in his Congressional expense account until the bill passes.  Isn’t that better than merely mouthing platitudes?  At least Marc Carey is willing to put his money where his mouth is.

But since Massie has no further in being re-elected in Lewis County as county Judge executive and won’t have a REAL job any longer. I guess the congressional salary, paid for by Kentucky taxpayers will buy more solar panels for that off the grid house he lives in; where he follows his cows around all day collecting manure in a five gallon bucket.

Fourth: “I vote for the candidate who best supports the Constitution.”  Can you please tell me what Mr. Massie has EVER done to support the Constitution?  I know he likes to talk about it, but Marc Carey has taken a stand many times and in fact won a First Amendment case in his own name supporting the rights of voters to have transparency in elections and successfully defended the Northern Kentucky TEA Party in a first Amendment case before the Kentucky Registry of Election Finance.  Tell me just one thing Massie has ever done to “support the Constitution”. You decide I already have !

Then Rand says “I think Thomas Massie best fits that description”.  He must be kidding. Marc Carey not only “best” fits that description, his credentials in all of these important areas is far superior to Mr. Massie, (and all of the others for that matter).

Come on Randy.  Admit it.  You like Massie because he lives “off the grid” in a solar panel house, wrote you a big check and supports your daddy and the others don’t support your daddy.  

Well guess, what, the rest of us republicans don’t support your daddy either and neither do the majority of republicans across America, judging by how miserably you guys are doing everywhere.

Bill Johnson Lincoln day Dinner in Spencer county Kentucky

Bill Johnson was well received at the Lincoln day Dinner in Spencer county Kentucky last night. My good friend Kelly reported!

Bill spoke well, even though he only had a short time to get his message out...about 3:30 minutes. He was interrupted a few times by applause (which eats into your time); the abortion. Right to Life Amendment, was received the loudest! Tax reform, elimination of the IRS and the EPA, term limits and his education position were homeruns as well. Kelly also told me we have Bill video taped so you will all eventually get to see him.

Now for Randy-Dandy Paul . He had a CNN crew (camera-man, his assistant and what could have been a producer) following him around. They are allegedly co-opting to produce a documentary. I got the impression that some of the attendees were not so pleased by the grandiosity of this activity. The CNN producer was impressed by Bill's (skin in the game) self-financing. He talked with Garrad See about this.

Randy Dandy Paul's speech included pork spending, balanced budgets, signed onto DeMint's proposed balanced budget act, term limits....then proceeds to prop himself up by telling
the audience about how far in the lead...19 points...he is, how he's the grassroot choice....(I believe he is delusional about what a "grassroots movement'" is they generally don't have millions of dollars and a famous daddy) than he goes on to say , he has all the momentum....and he has the demonstrated money making machine ( Rand sure seems to love money that is about all he talks about) with all his supposedly hype and money he can bring the needed attention to Kentucky. Why do we need attention ? Or is it him who is seeking the attention! He must think he is a rich rock star I guess. Apparently he is becoming a legend in his own mind.
He also went on about how great it is to be endorsed by Sarah Palin and that endorsement is the greatest thing that a Republican candidate can get.What Good ole' Rand Paul dose not realize yet is by endorsing him she has lost a great deal of support here in Kentucky and nationwide. I guess they will both get that memo soon enough.



Here in Kentucky we care most about what matters and life is one of the most important issue Kentuckians care about. Everywhere Bill goes he is well received by Kentuckians because he has the heart of a Kentuckian . A vote for Bill is going to be a vote to return Kentucky back to our real roots of, “Conservatives’ “

JOHNSON REACTS TO PALIN ENDORSEMENT

ELKTON — Kentucky GOP Senate Candidate Bill Johnson today issued the following statement about the Sarah Palin endorsement:

“According to reporting by several sources, Sarah Palin disagrees with Mr. Paul on some issues, Mr. Paul has never spoken to the Governor, and $2000 changed hands. Frankly, it appears like typical Washington behavior by two individuals claiming to be outside of politics as usual.

“While I respect Sarah Palin for her personal choices, I stand in disagreement with her and Mr. Paul’s public policy position of letting the states decide the issue of abortion. This is simply pro-choice for states. Instead, we need to protect our God-given unalienable right to life at all levels of government, including the federal level.

“It lacks honor to base an endorsement primarily on ‘shaking things up in Washington.’ We already have enough of the wrong kind of shake from the Washington Democrats and Libertarians. Instead, we need to elect principled leadership on the issues and chart a course back to the Ronald Reagan conservative platform.”

Paul supporter gets reemed out for leaving

A friend received the following after requesting to be removed from a Rand Paul mailing list. Evidently when you join Rand Paul's campaign you can't just ask to be removed from a list until they berate and try to intimidate you with cult like euphemisms! I have removed both the sender and the receivers names due to their privacy. I smell cult written all over this email. Buzz words and all.

You will be summarily removed. I sincerely hope that you realize that you are playing right into what the establishment wants you to do. They offer you up a neocon-lite because they know you will not vote for the establishment candidate and they only wish to pull enough votes away from their true opposition (who is leading in the polls) to allow their anointed candidate (who is second in
the polls) to win, and you are helping them do just that. It is a classic political game. Your candidate will not win. He has no chance. I know how that feels because we've been there before when the average masses were still asleep, but it wasn't because of lack of widespread support (which is the problem with your candidate - he has to lend his own campaign $250,000 because he does not have a mandate from the people even though he's been at campaigning for as long as the rest of 'em).

The problem is that your candidate does not understand, nor desire to obey, the US Constitution. I have talked to him numerous times and even been in a GOOOH focus group with him. He doesn't understand the separation between State and Federal authority. He doesn't even allow questions at his
events to any real degree. I have heard him speak many times. He is a very nice* person, I do not doubt that. He appears to be a "regular" guy and a moral guy. I'll give him that. All those things really don't matter if he doesn't respect the rule of law (the US Constitution) in ALL situations nor the separation of Federal and State authority that the States are accorded. (See the 9th and 10th amendments to the US Constitution.) In other words, even with all his good qualities, he lacks what we really need in
these terrible times....that is a thorough knowledge of the US Constitution and the guiding principles of true American liberty, which are the only way to restore our original peace and prosperity. We need a real statesman who knows the lessons of history.
I pray that you will consider you_r support and put it towards something besides a shell of true liberty.

While reading this email several things struck me there are even a couple of out right lies. Less take a look :

Point #1

Here they are saying that Bill Johnson was placed in this race by the GOP to take votes away from Rand Paul.Take notice the person uses the word neocon-lite. If you are around any of the Paulians you hear this work 100 times a day. The Rand Paulians love to toss it around a lot especially if you might disagree with them on an issue. This should come as no surprise they hate traditional values and would love to make radical changes much like the liberal school of thought about politics like the 60's movement. Hippies,free love, anti-establishment, anti-war,peace, love smoke pot, do what ever you like free for all kind of thinking. They call this liberty.

Than we have this : Point #2

Bill understands and was willing to die to protect the freedom we enjoy here in the United States after all he took an oath to uphold the Constitution it when he was sworn into the Navy. I do not personally know if Bill has set in a GOOOH group or not so I cannot comment on this but I will ask him and give an update later once I speak to him about it. As for the separation of State and Federal authority. A state cannot make laws that usurp the Federal authority nor can Federal authority usurp a state law as long as it is Constitutionally lawful to begin with. Not rocket science here. I am sure Bill understands this simple truth.

I doubt Rand Paul knows anymore than the average 5th grader about the Constitution. If he did he would not want to leave abortion up to the states. Abortion in is unconstitutional. If one understands the 14th amendment.

Of course the person rants about how the masses where asleep when they lost .. I am guessing they meant Ron Paul's lame run for president when he not only lost but miserably lost.

Than of course there is the double talk about Bill financing his own campaign with his own money .. the person says .. the establishment wants their anointed one I am thinking Trey Grayson to win so Bill is the ringer to take votes away from Rand than says he has to lend himself money to finance his campaign .. wouldn't the GOP give Bill all the money he needed if he was their ringer and than have him bow out at the last moment if they wanted Grayson to win .. Evidently some one went off their prozac before they wrote this email or maybe they just smoked too much pot, either way this is not the writings of a sound mind. This nit wit knows zero about a grassroots campaign nor what it means to run one.

Here we have a lie: We need a real statesman who knows the lessons of history.
How can Rand Paul be a statesman he has never held an office other then his eye care practice office. I actually laughed out loud at that statement. A statesman is usually a politician or other notable public figure who has had a long and respected career in politics or government at the national and international level. Paul is neither. I never even knew Ron had a son until Rand started his campaign and he has never held any political office that I can find unless maybe he did it on another planet. If Paul knew the lessons of history so well he would know that liberty comes with a price! Not a price tag!

Another blatant lie :He doesn't even allow questions at his events to any real degree!

I have seen Bill stay for hours after an event was finished allowing people to ask him as many questions as they want. He will answer them all. He is the one that turns off the lights after everyone else has left. I have been there and watched him since late August. Rand runs in tosses out his Libertarian bologna and runs out the door , that is unless their is a camera in his face. Than he stays for his photo shoot and than you can't find him for dust.

We welcome our new Bill Johnson supporter with open arms!

P.S. I bet Rand Paul won't show up in the Wal-mart parking lot to meet and go door to door Sunday morning with his supporters. I know Bill Johnson would. He never asks us to do anything he wouldn't do himself. That is a REAL LEADER!

State Sovereignty Resolution Rally Rand Paul a NO SHOW!!!!

On Thursday last week January 21, 2010 hundreds of Kentuckians joined together in a common goal to support HR 54 bill grafted by Representative Stan Lee (R) BR54/HR10 Kentucky state sovereignty bill and supported by other representatives from around Kentucky. We all gathered to show support for the sovereignty of Kentucky in the rotunda at our state capital in Frankfort... The rain did not deter those that understand the significance should such a bill be past. There were several guest speakers one was Leland Conway a talk show host from Lexington. There was a good turn out despite the rain.

Rand Paul says he in behind this bill and many of his supporters rant and rave about how much he wanted this bill past but did not see any significance in attending this important event. So, Rand why the no show for this bill? Although he did have supporters there handing out Paul campaign paraphnilia. They all wore those black hats and t-shirts.

No One from the Trey Grayson camp bother to show!

This tells me Paul nor Grayson really don’t care about Kentucky nor its citizens their only goal is to win in the primary this coming April.

The Leadership Institute teaches 41 different types of classes and seminars using its own curriculum. Class content varies from teaching how to create a campus newsletter to political activism (i.e. grassroots activism) to professional training and development (i.e. broadcast journalism). The Institutes's website lists its schools and other services.

Leadership Institute training sessions and leadership schools are open to students regardless of party registration. The instructors, though typically conservative, use examples and anecdotes from multiple political parties and all points on the political spectrum. Its revenue comes mostly from donors acquired through direct mail. Its 2007 revenue was $11.9 million, Morton Blackwell, the Institutes's president, claims that it does not teach political ideology per se. They do it by having the students read Libertarian authors and therefore planting the seeds of the LIBERTARIAN PLATFORM and way of thinking, a cunning and clever way of teaching in my opinion Mark Montini, one of the institute's teachers[who?] in the 1990s told his classes that Bill Clinton's skills as a communicator were greater than those of Ronald Reagan, the 'Great Communicator.' Many of the students agree with this observation and see the 'technology' as being politically neutral!

Everything about this school screams LIBERTARIAN and if anyone can't see it they are dumber than a brick or naive as a new born baby.

Here we have yet another deception from the Rand Paul camp. Sending his volunteers to boot camp on how to be the best libertarians they can be and he calls himself a conservative Republican!!! Who dose he think he is kidding ? Surly not the voters of Kentucky.

Rand Paul's Astroturf
The man who claims to be the tea party candidate in Kentucky's GOP primary, is having trouble drumming up support from among the grassroots here. There are many reasons for this which I will list below. The campaign's response is to bring in "fake grassroots" from outside the state. A new astroturfing group with the Rand Paul campaign as administrator has set up shop on Facebook. In March, out-of-state Paul supporters will travel here to work for the Paul campaign in what is being billed as Rand Paul's Spring Break in Kentucky.

Why don't grassroots conservatives in Kentucky support Rand Paul?

Political Nepotism -- People are turned off by the fact that Paul is riding his father's coattails. For instance, Gun Owners of America has admitted that the fact that he is Ron Paul's son was part of their criteria for endorsement. A great many of Rand Paul's endorsements are from people and groups who have previously endorsed his father. Rand Paul does not seek to serve Kentuckians by promoting the principles we value. His intent is to promote his father's agenda. In May of 2009, Rand Paul stated (emphasis mine):

"I know that third party candidates can’t win in KY. Although I’m a Libertarian at heart, I’ve decided to run as a Republican. Once I win I’ll be able to promote my father’s principles and work towards reforming the Republican party."

Flip-Flops and Obfuscation -- He's learning that libertarianism doesn't fly here, so he offers watered down speech on abortion, refusing to back off his father's agenda on the matter, but claims to be the pro-life candidate in the race. (His father has voted 56% pro-life according to National Right to Life.) He's been accused of scrubbing his website more than once. Once in regard to the Patriot Act and again in regard to Gitmo.

Alienating the Religious Right -- The Paul campaign has said they won't be engaging with the religious right as questions have been coming about his positions on abortion, releasing drug offenders and expanding gambling.

Ambivalence about genuine racism -- The fact that he is supported by the "White Power" movement has raised, unfortunatey, few eyebrows, but when it was learned that he actually hired a racist to be his campaign coordinator, the damage was palpable.

Out-of -State Support -- The very fact that most of Paul's support has been coming from outside Kentucky is a turn-off to Kentucky voters. The more Kentucky's voters are turned off, the more reason the Paul campaign has to send in astro-turfers.

The Grayson campaign, backed by the McConnell machine, was doomed from the start, no matter how many polls he throws out saying otherwise. Read the rest here :

“As an active gun owner and enthusiast, I share the Pauls' view that we must protect our right to gun ownership. However, Mr. Paul has made it clear that while gun owners deserve federal protection against infringement of their Second Amendment rights, unborn persons should not have federal right to equal protection under the Fourteenth Amendment. Instead, Paul would let the states decide if the unborn have individual rights to equal protection. The states would decide the issue of (abortion) (1) (2).

“The moment we let the states decide on one individual right, we put all individual rights in danger. To illustrate the danger, imagine if the opposite case were made by the gun control crowd, that unborn persons had the right to equal protection under the Fourteenth Amendment but we let the states decide if our Second Amendment right to gun ownership applies to individuals. Would that be acceptable?

“In an age when gun control proponents are seeking every possible loophole to infringe upon the rights of individuals to keep and bear arms, those who value the Second Amendment would do well to consider the Fourteenth Amendment as equally important. If the methodology of the Pauls' so-called "Sanctity of Life Act" were applied to gun ownership, states would be allowed to decide whether or not to ban guns. The bottom line is that the only acceptable position is for the federal government to protect all individual rights as stated in the Constitution.

Bill Johnson a David against Two Goliaths

We have our future in the hands of three men running for the U.S. Senate seat here in Kentucky.

One is Bill Johnson he is a “Joe”, citizen just like you and me. He is a family man, business, Gulf war vet and a Reagan conservative Republican. He quit his full time job in the hopes of be able to make a difference not for himself, but for Kentucky and America. He is funding his campaign with his own life’s savings and donations from those that support him. He is a David among the Two Goliaths. He is a solid conservative in that believes in the Reagan principles of Government. He understands the rights of the unborn child. He is served his county in the Navy aboard a nuclear guided missile cruiser and nuclear aircraft carrier.. Bill will to go anywhere any time and answer questions on any issue and has not changed one single stand since he decided to run last summer. He is running a real in action Grassroots campaign, he has his supporters, none of which are wealthy, none of which have influence in high places. They are folks that understand what ethics and principles mean they are the true Reagan conservatives. They do not bow down to the politically correct; they do not bend when the wind blows. They stand firm on their beliefs. They have drawn a line in the sand. They are Reagan conservative Kentuckians.

Another is Trey Grayson to date Trey is our Sectary of the state of Kentucky. We hear very little from this candidate. I am giving an educated guess here but I think because he is the GOP nomination he feels he don’t have to campaign, don’t have to do press conferences; don’t have to answer questions left by potential voters like my self and three others here in my home, We do vote and we are Reagan Conservatives. If my readers remember I blogged about his supposed Town Hall meeting were I said, I left a message and they told me they would get back to me. To this date that has not happened. I suppose 4 potential votes don’t mean a thing to a man that figures he has this election already in the bag. At a fund raiser a dinner was $500.00 dollars a plate. Not a bad price to pay if you are the elite. This guy is getting millions from both the GOP and fund raisers on his behalf and don’t have to do anything for it , just show up.

Than of course there is Rand Paul son of Ron. You probably know him his is the anti-Semite, anti-government, anti- law, anarchists from Texas Congressman who ran for President. Rand is an eye surgeon from Bowling Green Kentucky although he is from Texas. “I have nothing against Texans. Some of my best friends and family members live there and so did I for 13 years”. Most Texans are wonderful people, just not Ron.

Rand is married as well and runs a very successful practice. Rand has received as of this writing around 1.5 million in donations. Mine you, most of those come from out of state. He has changed his issues pages so many times I give up trying to keep up with what is fashionable with him today. As of today he has dropped all reference to the Patriot act from his web site. He isn’t sure whether or not the Constitution protects the unborn and I could probably write a book on his flip flops. HUMM, I have to wonder why he flips and flops so much on the issues.

I'm thinking we should all go to our local 912 meetups and talk to the people there. We could answer a lot of their questions and direct them to some great videos online and great books to read. We could also get them to sign up to the Campaign for Liberty.

Glen Beck at one time described himself as a conservative but after 2 years of having the Paul’s both Ron and Rand on his program he apparently has changed his mind and is becoming one of them.

Just in case anyone don’t quite understand what a libertarian political view is let me educate you just a little in my own words. Libertarians want nothing to do with culture wars, think drugs and pornography should be legal, favor an isolationist foreign policy and generally believe in shrinking the government to about the size of a gnat -- all of which a real conservative finds appalling .


Rand has encircled himself with racist, libertarians and in general nut jobs. I wonder who will get thrown under the next Paul bus. Do Kentuckians really want this kind of man as our Senator? I certainly don’t!

Pandering for the conservative vote in Kentucky

We all know politics can be a dirty game and even here in Kentucky we have those that are cloaked as a Republican’s but at heart are Libertarians or liberals that have infiltrated the Republican Party. Every state has its RINOS, (republican in name only) of course if you look into their voting records it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see what they really are. Ron Paul sure duped many Texans and found himself elected; now his son Rand thinks he can pull the wool over the eyes of conservative Republicans here as well in the Kentucky race for U.S. Senate. Trey Grayson sold out the GOP years ago and continues to sell out his fellow Kentuckians. There is a lot of folk’s pandering for the conservative vote in the coming 2010 elections in every state .Let’s look at some facts about the so called pro-life stand Rand Paul takes.

For those who believe Rand Paul is pro-life.....

And on abortion, Paul expressed discomfort with federal laws but said he “probably” would have voted for a federal ban on a procedure that has been called partial-birth abortion by its opponents. ( probably?? So he thinks it might be a bad idea to suck the brains out of a child during delivery!!! I think they call that murder!


Of course there is this, too:


He acknowledged such a position conflicts with his states-rights position but said, “Some things may be so primary that we have to consider protection at the federal level.”Primary?? So the right to live is a primary issue!! Here I was thinking it was a God given right and let me see don’t that old document called the Constitution say something about “unalienable rights of Life, Liberty and Property”?
If Rand can’t decide what he believes even before the primaries that what kinds of decisions will he make if he were to be elected? Maybe he could just not vote at all like many of them do. A senator’s vote can’t be” undecided” like an internet poll.

Rand is counting on the younger generation to cast their uninformed ballots for him because he talks a good talk and says exactly what they want to here. No matter how you slice it he is still his fathers son.


We have a little known” Reagan conservative” also running for U.S. Senator here in Kentucky and he isn’t running on his fathers coat tail of connections, or pandering to the beliefs he does not hold himself , he is running simply because he loves his country and because he cares about Kentucky and understands the socialistic agenda that has been set by the new administration in Washington . His name is Bill Johnson. Before you cast your vote in May next year please do yourself and your fellow Kentuckians a small favor and check out all the candidates’ before you vote. I for one support Bill Johnson for U.S. Senate. He is a solid “Reagan conservative” like most Republicans here in Kentucky.

Bill Johnson’s key stands on the important issues are:

1.Pro-life life begins at conception: will push for a personhood amendment
2.Strong military / peace through strength
3.Private healthcare/ Government should not be involved
4.Abundance of energy using Kentucky resources
5.Traditional values/ Marriage is between one man and one woman
6.Pro-Israel / a Jewish state
