8. Yeah, we eat taters & gravy, beans & cornbread. You really want sushi & caviar? It's available, at the corner bait shop.

9. The 'Opener' refers to the first day of deer season. It's a religious holiday held the closest Saturday to the first of November.

10. We open doors for women. That is applied to all women, regardless of age.

13. You bring 'coke' into my house, it better be brown, wet and served over ice.

14. You bring 'Mary Jane' into my house, she better be cute, know how to shoot, drive a truck, and have long hair.

15. We have a whole ton of folks in the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines. So don't mess with us. If you do, you will get whipped by the best..

16. Turn down that blasted car stereo! That thumpity-thump crap ain't music, anyway. We don't want to hear it anymore than we want to see your boxers. Refer back to #1.

17. 4 inches isn't a blizzard - it's a flurry. Drive like you got some sense in it, and DON'T take all our bread, milk, and bleach from the stores. This ain't Alaska, worst case you may have to live a whole day without croissants. The pickups with snow blades will have you out the next day. News Flash buy a freezer and pack it full. No harm in being prepared.

Miscarriage of Justice in Flordia For Caylee Anthony

Today, I witnessed a gross miscarriage of justice. Casey Anthony was found not guilty of murdering her daughter Caylee. It was more than three years ago that her tiny body was found about a block away from the home of her grandparents; scattered in the woods like a bag of garbage. She had been missing for over a month. A meter reader found the body and according to his testimony tampered with the evidence. He even picked up the tiny girls head with a stick and made jokes about it. His half hearted apology in the court room was nothing short of a slap in Caylee’s face.

The Florida police were inept at everything they did in the investigation. The other family members were not even on the suspect list of possible murders.They were briefly questioned and released. The prosecuting attorney’s team showed total incompetence and Casey Anthony will be charged with lying to the police so, she walks out free. The maximum sentence she can charged is four years so , with time served; the three years she has spent in jail leaves one year at most she will probably go free in less than six months.

There was no compelling evidence found to convict her .The jury was lead down one rabbit hole after another, leaving them with no remedy but to find Casey not guilty. What happened to the evidence found in the Anthony home? Why was it not brought forth in the trial?
The defending attorney made the focal point of the trial the family and her abusive childhood by the hands of her father, making her look like the victim. Casey can’t be trusted; she has proven herself a liar in every piece of her testimony. She lied about where her child was and who she was with, she lied about where she worked, she lied time an again. She showed NO sorrow for the death of her daughter, she showed no grief, she smiled like she had won a prize when she was found not guilty. She did not look like a grieving mother. The entire trail was a joke there was no real justice and the prosecuting attorney's preformed like armature para legals.

It was an accident gone terribly wrong is the official conclusion. Without evidence of an accident . If Caylee’s death was an accident, why cover it up, what are they hiding? No one has made it clear what the accident was nor how Caylee died, was it in the backyard pool? Was it from being shaken to death? That would be murder. Did she fall or did someone smother her to death with that duct tape they found in the woods. There are still a lot of unanswered questions about Caylee’s death.

I have reservations that we will ever know the secret of how Caylee Anthony died. I believe the Anthony family knows. They should be feeling shame but there seems to be no one with compunction in the Anthony family.

Caylee did not find justice and the Florida court system showed the world their lack of competency. I am both heart broken and dismayed that a small defenseless child can die and no one cares to answer who , what, why or how this beautiful baby died and was tossed out like trash.

Al Franken and Rand Paul Buddies !

Say what? My first thought was maybe it was a misprint. Therefore, I did a Google search to see if I could find any more information and sure enough. Al Franken a flaming liberal Democrat and former satirist and comedian known for his attacks against Republicans and Conservatives, liberal from Minnesota is now Senator Rand Paul’s mentor. If you memory is lost in all that has transpired prior to Al’ being seated at Senator in Minnesota let me refresh it for you briefly. There was a recount of the votes that turned Al Franken into a U.S. Senator winning the outcome; could have been decided by convicted felons who voted illegally in Minnesota's Twin Cities it was announced in July 2010. In a study conducted by Minnesota Majority, a conservative watchdog group found that at least 341 convicted felons in largely Democratic voted illegally. . The study showed that Franken beat Coleman by 312 votes -- fewer votes than the number of felons whose illegal ballots were counted, After all was said and done Republican governor of Minnesota, Tim Pawlenty, signed the certificate of election for Franken and he took office July 6, 2009, for a six-year term.

Franken is known for his anti-conservative hate speak (he has called them "nasty, hateful people). This man obviously hates conservatives and everything they stand for. There were obviously some questions about the voting process during the election.

So why would Rand Paul align himself with such a man as of all things his Mentor? Paul’s remarks were vague at best.

"I think I will surprise some people," he told Politico in a profile piece today. "The way you win battles is by talking to independents, conservative Democrats, and maybe even some liberal Democrats who might agree with you on occasion."

We know Rand is young at the game of politics, we know he was the Tea Party poster child. I see no common ground for this strange alliance. Paul ranted how conservative he was all during his campaign. Of course, many of us knew all along he was a libertarian Republican (whatever that is) at heart just like his father Ron. It should be very interesting to see how Rand and his shady new friend Al Franken sort things out from here. Maybe, Rand likes dirty jokes and making fun of his own party. The only thing I see they might have in common is weakening Our Military.A good friend just sent me this so I thought I would add it ..he is a very reliable source so I am sure it is true.

I heard Paul say this, this morning on Laura Ingram. I thought it was a joke at first but no.
He also said, we should lift all trade barriers on China and not link them to human rights.
Oh boy.

A lesson in Chinese

What is wrong with that picture ? It is not rocket science to figure it out .. we are importing more than we are exporting ! I do not claim to be an expert in economics but those figures are grossly out of balance.
The USA - China trade deal signed in 1999 provides increased access for US exports across a broad range of commodities and elimination of barriers. At that time it was considered a third world country.

Below is a breakdown of what has transpired since that agreement was signed .China is looking pretty good as far as economics are concerned. One of the greatest imported of all is Wal Mart . We have thousands of Wal-Marts across the country and around the world and every time we buy an item from one we are helping China grow and flourish economically . While our own country slips deeper into recession. We are no longer the export king of the world, we are barely a dutches. China dose not have to comply with American standards. They send us toys filled with lead that can kill our children. The clothing they make is inferior to American made. They do not have to adhere to EPA regulations.
So far for our agreement we have received dog & cat food. Poisonous lead paint οn ουr childrens toys. Deadly chemicals found іn Chinese mаԁе toothpaste. Chicken, pork аnԁ fish wіth tainted Chinese pet food ingredients. Dried apples preserved wіth a cancer-causing chemical. Frozen catfish laden wіth banned antibiotics. Scallops аnԁ sardines coated wіth rotten bacteria. Mushrooms laced wіth illegal pesticides. I mean thе list goes οn аnԁ οn… Thе Food аnԁ Drug Administration detained аt U.S. more thаn 1,000 shipments οf tainted Chinese products. Sο, WHY ԁο wе still bυу frοm thеm??
Than of course there was that baby formula that contained Melamine, a byproduct of plastic manufacturing, can be used to mimic high-protein additives…There was only one store found to have it in the US in 2004.. In China dozens of babies died from ingesting the fake formula. My question here to you is this . Is it worth buying products at a cheaper price when we are loosing jobs, industries and our own lively hood to help China a communist country prosper ?

January started out with a bang

So far, January has started with a bang... Extremely, cold weather snows and below normal temperatures from coast to coast. Than there are those bits and pieces, we are reading about all those birds falling out of the sky. Dead fish floating in lakes. Than there were Even more birds falling from the sky reported. The only explanation is the fireworks from News Years Eve must have stressed them out .I have seen fireworks for 50 years and never once has any birds died due to stress or trauma . We probably could have believed that first report but now apparently this phenomenal occurrence is global in size. Now folks are finding dead fish and crabs, more birds, and more fish and more birds and lobsters. I started looking for reports from other places and guess what I found. This bird epidemic seems to have found its way into Europe as well. We are getting a gambit of bologna from the media , some say stress , some cold weather , others chemicals from the oil spill and than or course there is that pesky gadget they call HAARP that is up in Alaska . What ever it is, the media surely are not reporting it truthfully or publicly. Your guess is as good as mine is!

We had a tragic event take place in Tucson, Arizona. A very disturbed young man age 22 shot and killed six people and wounded an additional 14. The lives taken were a nine-year-old girl another was a judge and the rest just patriots wanting to meet their congressional representative Gabriel Griffords. She seriously wounded and it looks like she will recover. The memorial service turned into a circus like activity. There was cheering and clapping, a Native American giving prayers and let us not forget the T-shirts. Yes, even to my disbelief they handed out T-shirts at a memorial service. The only thing that did not happen was popping pop corn and selling sideshow tickets. IT was a disgrace tremendously unbelievable. I think I saw a new low with this currant administration.

I have been expecting the American population to riot any day now. Thankfully, the conservatives remain peaceful and make an effort to stay civil to the liberals. This is no small achievement even though they treat them as if they are criminals. Apparently, all the woes of the world stem from the conservatives standards on values, morals; want fewer taxes and a MUCH smaller government. We assemble having diplomatic conduct clean up when we leave and exercise our Freedom of Speech. During the 60’s people were doing the same kinds of things. They protested what they did not agree an action taken. Somehow, during the past 2 years this has become a crime. Especially if you might disagree with the currant, administration in Washington DC, I believe the folks in Washington have forgotten for whom they work. Who pays theirs salaries and that we are a Republic. America was built upon immigrants, not illegal immigrants. Hard work has always been how we got things made and why we flourished as a nation. Free enterprise is a part of our economics anyone can open a business. Freedom is why people want to come to America to live. None of these things is new. We are a country foundered by and for the people. We are Americans! We love freedom and we love America ! I can't wait for 2012. I count the hours and the days until the next election. And with prayer,faith in the people of America a lot of hard work we will have a new president. One that understands what it is to be an American and a patriot; one who won't bow to others , won't trade our sovereignty for peace, won't sell out our grandchildren s further.A person who certainly won't apologize for us being the greatest nation in the world.

John is an avid Tea Party participant. Every where I have gone in the past year to a TEA party event I have had the pleasure of seeing John. He is genuine when he speaks and I believe we need men like John Kemper III here in Kentucky running our government offices. John is a very common sense solution kind of man. I also believe John will be the next TEA Party candidate here in Kentucky.

For far too long now it has been unfashionable in Europe to speak up for Israel. In the wake of the recent incident on board a ship full of anti-Israeli activists in the Mediterranean, it is hard to think of a more unpopular cause to champion.

In an ideal world, the assault by Israeli commandos on the Mavi Marmara would not have ended up with nine dead and a score wounded. In an ideal world, the soldiers would have been peacefully welcomed on to the ship. In an ideal world, no state, let alone a recent ally of Israel such as Turkey, would have sponsored and organized a flotilla whose sole purpose was to create an impossible situation for Israel: making it choose between giving up its security policy and the naval blockade, or risking the wrath of the world.

In our dealings with Israel, we must blow away the red mists of anger that too often cloud our judgment. A reasonable and balanced approach should encapsulate the following realities: first, the state of Israel was created by a decision of the UN. Its legitimacy, therefore, should not be in question. Israel is a nation with deeply rooted democratic institutions. It is a dynamic and open society that has repeatedly excelled in culture, science and technology.

Second, owing to its roots, history, and values, Israel is a fully fledged Western nation. Indeed, it is a normal Western nation, but one confronted by abnormal circumstances.

Uniquely in the West, it is the only democracy whose very existence has been questioned since its inception. In the first instance, it was attacked by its neighbors using the conventional weapons of war. Then it faced terrorism culminating in wave after wave of suicide attacks. Now, at the behest of radical Islamists and their sympathizers, it faces a campaign of delegitimisation through international law and diplomacy.

Sixty-two years after its creation, Israel is still fighting for its very survival. Punished with missiles raining from north and south, threatened with destruction by an Iran aiming to acquire nuclear weapons and pressed upon by friend and foe, Israel, it seems, is never to have a moment's peace.

For years, the focus of Western attention has understandably been on the peace process between Israelis and Palestinians. But if Israel is in danger today and the whole region is slipping towards a worryingly problematic future, it is not due to the lack of understanding between the parties on how to solve this conflict. The parameters of any prospective peace agreement are clear, however difficult it may seem for the two sides to make the final push for a settlement.

The real threats to regional stability, however, are to be found in the rise of a radical Islamism which sees Israel's destruction as the fulfillment of its religious destiny and, simultaneously in the case of Iran, as an expression of its ambitions for regional hegemony. Both phenomena are threats that affect not only Israel, but also the wider West and the world at large.

The core of the problem lies in the ambiguous and often erroneous manner in which too many Western countries are now reacting to this situation. It is easy to blame Israel for all the evils in the Middle East. Some even act and talk as if a new understanding with the Muslim world could be achieved if only we were prepared to sacrifice the Jewish state on the altar. This would be folly.

Israel is our first line of defense in a turbulent region that is constantly at risk of descending into chaos; a region vital to our energy security owing to our overdependence on Middle Eastern oil; a region that forms the front line in the fight against extremism. If Israel goes down, we all go down. To defend Israel's right to exist in peace, within secure borders, requires a degree of moral and strategic clarity that too often seems to have disappeared in Europe. The United States shows worrying signs of heading in the same direction.

The West is going through a period of confusion over the shape of the world's future. To a great extent, this confusion is caused by a kind of masochistic self-doubt over our own identity; by the rule of political correctness; by a multiculturalism that forces us to our knees before others; and by a secularism which, irony of ironies, blinds us even when we are confronted by jihadis promoting the most fanatical incarnation of their faith. To abandon Israel to its fate, at this moment of all moments, would merely serve to illustrate how far we have sunk and how inexorable our decline now appears.

This cannot be allowed to happen. Motivated by the need to rebuild our own Western values, expressing deep concern about the wave of aggression against Israel, and mindful that Israel's strength is our strength and Israel's weakness is our weakness, I have decided to promote a new Friends of Israel initiative with the help of some prominent people, including David Trimble, Andrew Roberts, John Bolton, Alejandro Toledo (the former President of Peru), Marcello Pera (philosopher and former President of the Italian Senate), Fiamma Nirenstein (the Italian author and politician), the financier Robert Agostinelli and the Catholic intellectual George Weigel.

It is not our intention to defend any specific policy or any particular Israeli government. The sponsors of this initiative are certain to disagree at times with decisions taken by Jerusalem. We are democrats, and we believe in diversity.

What binds us, however, is our unyielding support for Israel's right to exist and to defend itself. For Western countries to side with those who question Israel's legitimacy, for them to play games in international bodies with Israel's vital security issues, for them to appease those who oppose Western values rather than robustly to stand up in defense of those values, is not only a grave moral mistake, but a strategic error of the first magnitude.

Israel is a fundamental part of the West. The West is what it is thanks to its Judeo-Christian roots. If the Jewish element of those roots is upturned and Israel is lost, then we are lost too. Whether we like it or not, our fate is inextricably intertwined.

Boycotts those that are boycotting Arizonia

Boycotts are very effective only when those that participate are willing to give up something they use or something else; such as a sport or an item like fruits and vegetables. It takes time an effort to effectively carry out a Boycott. Those that are involved have to be committed to the boycott in order to have an impact on the business or company and in our case entire cities. I and my friend Bill decided to start a boycott of companies and cities that are boycotting Governor Brewer’s new immigration law.

Mayors across the country have placed a boycott on the state of Arizona refusing to travel or do business with the state in protest of its new immigration laws. In protest to their protest we decided to return the favor in kind by starting our own boycott.

America’s most famous boycott was the Boston Tea party. The colonist needed the tea but they tossed it into the harbor and did without tea. They would rather do without tea in protest of the high taxes they were paying. The boycott is a very peaceful and very effective way to protest and it does bring about change. When an individual participates in a boycott it can be feel very empowering. Every time you don’t buy an item you are affecting the businesses bottom lines. Passing through a city while on vacation and not stopping for gas or food, nor spending the night effects three businesses in the same city. Imagine what would happen if thousands of people traveling across the country did the same thing. Shopping can be a challenge. Travel has to be well planned before you start off on a trip. Take a route that goes around the city or gas up before you get near the city on the boycott list. Make it a game and it won’t seem like such a chore. :)

Being effective takes discipline. In many parts of the country much of our fruits and vegetables come from California so we have get creative. We will have to learn to buy local, grow our own or do without. Those are hard choices but ones we have to make if we want to be effective in our boycott against California. Cites across the country are making head lines announcing their boycotts. Wal mart sells mostly fruits and vegetables from either Mexico or California so ask them if you don’t find a label of where they are grown. If the clerk ask you why you want to know tell them you are boycotting and why. Local food chains buy much of their fruits and vegetables from California too.

Here is a list of cities I found that are boycotting Arizona: I suggest calling the mayors of each city and telling them you are going to boycott their city in protest of them boycotting Arizona’s immigration laws. Tell them you will not stop in their city on vacation and you won’t buy any products manufactured in their city. If enough folks do this we can have an enormous impact on them economically. I will update this list if any other cites decide to boycott Arizona.

A taped statement by former NYC Mayor Ed Koch, who has vigorously

Strong letters of support for Israel have been signed by 3/4 of the Congress, 333 Members of the House of Representative and 76 Senators. The Congressional letters were addressed to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as a powerful response objecting to the Obama administration shift in US policy. They stress the strong and enduring US-Israel relationship, and object to the current emphasis on pressuring Israel by making demands for preconditions in order to entice the Palestinians to the negotiating table.

These letters, by responding in a very forceful way to the crisis created by the Administration's stand against Israel, put the Congress at odds with the President.

They express the American public's long-standing approval of the US - Israel relationship and disapproval of the Obama Administration's fomenting of hatred among Israel's enemies and intensifying the conflict (as witnessed by recent Palestinian riots in Jerusalem).

These dissenting Congressional letters have generated hundreds of thank you letters signed by individuals and heads of organizations. They express appreciation to the pro-Israel support Congress is now providing for a beleaguered Israel.

The Congressional letters are very important because they demonstrate to Prime Minister Netanyahu a strong, bi-partisan American support for him personally and for Israel. “The methodology used in the Survey USA poll took a sample of Kentucky residents with a telephone number and asked them if they were registered Republicans and likely to vote in the primary. History shows that regardless of the answer, only 1 in 5 will actually cast a vote in the Republican primary. This is a name recognition poll more appropriate to a general election than a Republican primary.

“The Survey USA methodology disclaimer states, ‘There are other possible sources of error in all surveys that may be more serious than sampling error. These include the manner in which specialized populations, such as likely voters, are determined. It is difficult to quantify the errors that may result from these and other factors.’

“What a fraud. Out of the approximately one million registered Republicans, about 200,000 will cast primary votes. When a sample is taken from the 200,000 with a history of primary voting, a much different picture emerges. I remain confident in my campaign’s base of support and continued progress in this primary election.

“As a businessman, I understand it is important to base decisions and actions on proper data. Rand Paul’s False Claims on Abortion Don’t Match His Previous Statements

Florence, Kentucky –

Secretary of State Trey Grayson and Businessman Bill Johnson, both Republican candidates for U.S. Senate issued the following response today to the claims contained in Rand Paul’s radio ad on the topic of abortion:

“There’s no ‘probably’ when it comes to the issue of partial birth abortion among Kentucky pro-life activists,” said Grayson. “Whether it’s Bill Johnson or myself, Kentuckians deserve to know who can be counted on to protect life and stand up for our conservative values in the race for U.S. Senate.”

“Rand Paul denies it now, but I’ve heard him say that he supports allowing individual states to decide the issue of abortion. He describes himself as a Constitutional conservative, but he ignores the 14th Amendment to the Constitution that guarantees our rights to life, liberty and property. Life should be protected at all levels of Government, including the Federal level,” said Bill Johnson.

While Rand Paul claims to be pro-life, he has in the past voiced support for allowing states to decide the issue and has opposed federal regulation of abortion. Rand Paul in his own words:

“But he [Paul] was more evasive when it came to some social issues like abortion and gay marriage. Middlesboro Daily News: What about instances of rape or incest or where the outcome may not be death, but severe medical problems for the mother or child. Do you think that in these cases the decision should be left to the government rather than the families? Paul: In cases of rape, trying to prevent pregnancies is obviously the best thing. The morning-after pill works successfully most of the time. Ultimately we do better if we do have better education about family planning. With partial-birth abortion, there were five women who testified that it threatened their life. It wasn’t completely true in all cases. They were non-viable babies. They were babies with awful genetic mutations that were not going to survive, and I tend to think we let nature take its course. Bill Johnson was well received at the Lincoln day Dinner in Spencer county Kentucky last night. My good friend Kelly reported!

Bill spoke well, even though he only had a short time to get his message out...about 3:30 minutes. He was interrupted a few times by applause (which eats into your time); the abortion. Right to Life Amendment, was received the loudest! Tax reform, elimination of the IRS and the EPA, term limits and his education position were homeruns as well. Kelly also told me we have Bill video taped so you will all eventually get to see him.

Now for Randy-Dandy Paul . He had a CNN crew (camera-man, his assistant and what could have been a producer) following him around. They are allegedly co-opting to produce a documentary. I got the impression that some of the attendees were not so pleased by the grandiosity of this activity. The CNN producer was impressed by Bill's (skin in the game) self-financing. He talked with Garrad See about this.

Randy Dandy Paul's speech included pork spending, balanced budgets, signed onto DeMint's proposed balanced budget act, term limits....then proceeds to prop himself up by telling
the audience about how far in the lead...19 points...he is, how he's the grassroot choice....(I believe he is delusional about what a "grassroots movement'" is they generally don't have millions of dollars and a famous daddy) than he goes on to say , he has all the momentum....and he has the demonstrated money making machine ( Rand sure seems to love money that is about all he talks about) with all his supposedly hype and money he can bring the needed attention to Kentucky. Why do we need attention ? Or is it him who is seeking the attention! He must think he is a rich rock star I guess. Apparently he is becoming a legend in his own mind.
He also went on about how great it is to be endorsed by Sarah Palin and that endorsement is the greatest thing that a Republican candidate can get.What Good ole' Rand Paul dose not realize yet is by endorsing him she has lost a great deal of support here in Kentucky and nationwide. I guess they will both get that memo soon enough.

Here in Kentucky we care most about what matters and life is one of the most important issue Kentuckians care about. Everywhere Bill goes he is well received by Kentuckians because he has the heart of a Kentuckian . A vote for Bill is going to be a vote to return Kentucky back to our real roots of, “Conservatives’ “

Sarah Palin made her endorsement of Rand Paul official on Monday, 2010. There are a lot of conservatives here in Kentucky and around America that were very disappointed in her choice of adding Rand to her list of endorsements. Sarah’s followers have been duped and of course for this, I feel bad for them. A few are actually broken hearted that is how much they supported and love her. This is my first time of speaking out against Sarah because many of my friends loved her so much and love does strange things to folks. I voiced my opinion to a couple a while back and you would have thought I had murdered their prize pig. One friend in particular I had a conversation with actually got angry and ask me to leave her house. I said, she was not pro-life nor a conservative. My argument is if she were pro-life than why she would want the issue of abortion handled by the states instead of enforcing the 14th amendment. If the states or only one state are allowed to allow or disallow abortion than at the end of the day babies still die. That is not pro-life! To be pro-life you have to be against abortion, anything else is a compromise. The issue of abortion is not negotiable. Yes, that includes rape, incest and the risk of the mother’s life. The mothers’ life is no longer an issue any way with modern technology and medicine. In the cases of rape or incest those babies can be born and adopted to a childless family. The baby did nothing wrong and has a RIGHT TO LIFE not only constitutionally but morally. Ronald Reagan’s stand on abortion was the 14th amendment protected the unborn because they are persons.

But let’s take a look at Sarah. I will show you she never was what her followers thought her to be.

First as soon as her campaign with John McCain was over she went home to Alaska and left her governorship. So she abandoned her commitment to serve Alaska and its people who had voted her into office. She just quit without much of a reason. That was my first sign she had arterial motives. She wrote a book that of course got her lots of attention and publicity and of course interviews on television, she even made it to Oprah. She made a lot of money too. Money can make good folks do strange things I believe to date her book has sold at least a million copies. At that point I thought money and fame must have taken hold, she loved being in the spot light. The first time I saw this woman, my skin crawled couldn’t quite put my finger on it but you know how sometimes you just get a feeling about someone, you might not be so sure what it is but you know there is something awry. The way the campaign played her down to be just a soccer mom that loved her country gave me my first suspicions about Sarah. Why would John McCain choose an unknown no body as his vice-president? Good question.Than she went on and after the book or during its writing

She formed Sarah PAC, said she would back conservative candidates. She is now campaigning for John McCain who is nothing more than a RINO career politician, elite, Washington insider. Who supports global warming theory, and “I would close Gitmo” The greatest of his flaws is he believes in amnesty for the 30 million illegal immigrants here in America eating up our taxes dollars, committing crimes, over loading our prison systems, sucking the life out of our social programs and sending our money back to Mexico and other foreign countries. John sounds like he is a real patriot don't he?

Than we have her latest endorsement of Rand Paul. I have made no bones about what I think about good ole' Randy in the past. By the way Rand Paul don’t think we have a problem with illegals here in Kentucky; he gives them free eye care, helps find them houses and in general aides and abides helping them to break the law.

A friend received the following after requesting to be removed from a Rand Paul mailing list. Evidently when you join Rand Paul's campaign you can't just ask to be removed from a list until they berate and try to intimidate you with cult like euphemisms! I have removed both the sender and the receivers names due to their privacy. I smell cult written all over this email. Buzz words and all.

You will be summarily removed. I sincerely hope that you realize that you are playing right into what the establishment wants you to do. They offer you up a neocon-lite because they know you will not vote for the establishment candidate and they only wish to pull enough votes away from their true opposition (who is leading in the polls) to allow their anointed candidate (who is second in
the polls) to win, and you are helping them do just that. It is a classic political game. Your candidate will not win. He has no chance. I know how that feels because we've been there before when the average masses were still asleep, but it wasn't because of lack of widespread support (which is the problem with your candidate - he has to lend his own campaign $250,000 because he does not have a mandate from the people even though he's been at campaigning for as long as the rest of 'em).

The problem is that your candidate does not understand, nor desire to obey, the US Constitution. I have talked to him numerous times and even been in a GOOOH focus group with him. He doesn't understand the separation between State and Federal authority. He doesn't even allow questions at his
events to any real degree. I have heard him speak many times. He is a very nice* person, I do not doubt that. He appears to be a "regular" guy and a moral guy. I'll give him that. All those things really don't matter if he doesn't respect the rule of law (the US Constitution) in ALL situations nor the separation of Federal and State authority that the States are accorded. (See the 9th and 10th amendments to the US Constitution.) In other words, even with all his good qualities, he lacks what we really need in
these terrible times....that is a thorough knowledge of the US Constitution and the guiding principles of true American liberty, which are the only way to restore our original peace and prosperity. We need a real statesman who knows the lessons of history.
I pray that you will consider you_r support and put it towards something besides a shell of true liberty.

While reading this email several things struck me there are even a couple of out right lies. Less take a look :

Here they are saying that Bill Johnson was placed in this race by the GOP to take votes away from Rand Paul.Take notice the person uses the word neocon-lite. If you are around any of the Paulians you hear this work 100 times a day. The Rand Paulians love to toss it around a lot especially if you might disagree with them on an issue. This should come as no surprise they hate traditional values and would love to make radical changes much like the liberal school of thought about politics like the 60's movement. Hippies,free love, anti-establishment, anti-war,peace, love smoke pot, do what ever you like free for all kind of thinking. They call this liberty.

As for the separation of State and Federal authority. A state cannot make laws that usurp the Federal authority nor can Federal authority usurp a state law as long as it is Constitutionally lawful to begin with. Not rocket science here. I am sure Bill understands this simple truth.

I doubt Rand Paul knows anymore than the average 5th grader about the Constitution. If he did he would not want to leave abortion up to the states. Abortion in is unconstitutional. If one understands the 14th amendment.

Of course the person rants about how the masses where asleep when they lost .. I am guessing they meant Ron Paul's lame run for president when he not only lost but miserably lost.

Than of course there is the double talk about Bill financing his own campaign with his own money .. the person says .. the establishment wants their anointed one I am thinking Trey Grayson to win so Bill is the ringer to take votes away from Rand than says he has to lend himself money to finance his campaign .. wouldn't the GOP give Bill all the money he needed if he was their ringer and than have him bow out at the last moment if they wanted Grayson to win .. Evidently some one went off their prozac before they wrote this email or maybe they just smoked too much pot, either way this is not the writings of a sound mind. This nit wit knows zero about a grassroots campaign nor what it means to run one.

Here we have a lie: We need a real statesman who knows the lessons of history.
How can Rand Paul be a statesman he has never held an office other then his eye care practice office. I actually laughed out loud at that statement. A statesman is usually a politician or other notable public figure who has had a long and respected career in politics or government at the national and international level. Paul is neither. I never even knew Ron had a son until Rand started his campaign and he has never held any political office that I can find unless maybe he did it on another planet. If Paul knew the lessons of history so well he would know that liberty comes with a price! Not a price tag!

I have seen Bill stay for hours after an event was finished allowing people to ask him as many questions as they want. He will answer them all. He is the one that turns off the lights after everyone else has left. I have been there and watched him since late August. Rand runs in tosses out his Libertarian bologna and runs out the door , that is unless their is a camera in his face. Than he stays for his photo shoot and than you can't find him for dust.

State Sovereignty Resolution Rally Rand Paul a NO SHOW!!!!

On Thursday last week January 21, 2010 hundreds of Kentuckians joined together in a common goal to support HR 54 bill grafted by Representative Stan Lee (R) BR54/HR10 Kentucky state sovereignty bill and supported by other representatives from around Kentucky. We all gathered to show support for the sovereignty of Kentucky in the rotunda at our state capital in Frankfort... The rain did not deter those that understand the significance should such a bill be past. There were several guest speakers one was Leland Conway a talk show host from Lexington. There was a good turn out despite the rain.

Rand Paul says he in behind this bill and many of his supporters rant and rave about how much he wanted this bill past but did not see any significance in attending this important event. So, Rand why the no show for this bill? Although he did have supporters there handing out Paul campaign paraphnilia. They all wore those black hats and t-shirts.

No One from the Trey Grayson camp bother to show!

This tells me Paul nor Grayson really don’t care about Kentucky nor its citizens their only goal is to win in the primary this coming April.

The Leadership Institute teaches 41 different types of classes and seminars using its own curriculum. Everything about this school screams LIBERTARIAN and if anyone can't see it they are dumber than a brick or naive as a new born baby.

Rand Paul's Astroturf
The man who claims to be the tea party candidate in Kentucky's GOP primary, is having trouble drumming up support from among the grassroots here. There are many reasons for this which I will list below. The campaign's response is to bring in "fake grassroots" from outside the state. A new astroturfing group with the Rand Paul campaign as administrator has set up shop on Facebook. In March, out-of-state Paul supporters will travel here to work for the Paul campaign in what is being billed as Rand Paul's Spring Break in Kentucky.

Why don't grassroots conservatives in Kentucky support Rand Paul?

Political Nepotism -- People are turned off by the fact that Paul is riding his father's coattails. For instance, Gun Owners of America has admitted that the fact that he is Ron Paul's son was part of their criteria for endorsement. A great many of Rand Paul's endorsements are from people and groups who have previously endorsed his father. Rand Paul does not seek to serve Kentuckians by promoting the principles we value. His intent is to promote his father's agenda. In May of 2009, Rand Paul stated (emphasis mine):

"I know that third party candidates can’t win in KY. Although I’m a Libertarian at heart, I’ve decided to run as a Republican. Once I win I’ll be able to promote my father’s principles and work towards reforming the Republican party."

Flip-Flops and Obfuscation -- He's learning that libertarianism doesn't fly here, so he offers watered down speech on abortion, refusing to back off his father's agenda on the matter, but claims to be the pro-life candidate in the race. (His father has voted 56% pro-life according to National Right to Life.) He's been accused of scrubbing his website more than once. Once in regard to the Patriot Act and again in regard to Gitmo.

Alienating the Religious Right -- The Paul campaign has said they won't be engaging with the religious right as questions have been coming about his positions on abortion, releasing drug offenders and expanding gambling.

Ambivalence about genuine racism -- The fact that he is supported by the "White Power" movement has raised, unfortunatey, few eyebrows, but when it was learned that he actually hired a racist to be his campaign coordinator, the damage was palpable.

Out-of -State Support -- The very fact that most of Paul's support has been coming from outside Kentucky is a turn-off to Kentucky voters. The more Kentucky's voters are turned off, the more reason the Paul campaign has to send in astro-turfers.

The Grayson campaign, backed by the McConnell machine, was doomed from the start, no matter how many polls he throws out saying otherwise. Read the rest here :

“My campaign contacted the Gun Owners of America (GOA) leadership today for an understanding of the recent endorsement of Rand Paul. Mr. John Velleco of GOA explained that the organization based their endorsement on campaign finance reports and their longstanding relationship with the elder Ron Paul.

“That does not make sense. Apparently, a grassroots campaign with minimal funding and no Washington network is unworthy of support from the Gun Owners of America. The endorsement of GOA was for sale and sold to the campaign with the most money.

“The Gun Owners of America leadership has turned its back on a gulf war veteran and active gun owner for the sake of money. Additionally, they have chosen to endorse a candidate in Rand Paul who has turned his back on the unborn and our individual right to equal protection of the 14th amendment. ELKTON —Kentucky GOP Senate Candidate Bill Johnson today issued the following statement regarding how the Constitution applies to two core conservative values: The rights to life and gun ownership.

“The Gun Owners of America organization has reportedly endorsed Rand Paul and cited 'respect for our Constitutional freedoms' in the announcement. The organization is a long time supporter of the elder Ron Paul.

“As an active gun owner and enthusiast, I share the Pauls' view that we must protect our right to gun ownership. However, Mr. Paul has made it clear that while gun owners deserve federal protection against infringement of their Second Amendment rights, unborn persons should not have federal right to equal protection under the Fourteenth Amendment. Instead, Paul would let the states decide if the unborn have individual rights to equal protection. The states would decide the issue of (abortion) (1) (2).

“The moment we let the states decide on one individual right, we put all individual rights in danger. To illustrate the danger, imagine if the opposite case were made by the gun control crowd, that unborn persons had the right to equal protection under the Fourteenth Amendment but we let the states decide if our Second Amendment right to gun ownership applies to individuals. “In an age when gun control proponents are seeking every possible loophole to infringe upon the rights of individuals to keep and bear arms, those who value the Second Amendment would do well to consider the Fourteenth Amendment as equally important. If the methodology of the Pauls' so-called "Sanctity of Life Act" were applied to gun ownership, states would be allowed to decide whether or not to ban guns. The bottom line is that the only acceptable position is for the federal government to protect all individual rights as stated in the Constitution.

“Kentuckians should be wary of any person running for office who holds an inconsistent position about our individual rights. We have our future in the hands of three men running for the U.S. Senate seat here in Kentucky.

One is Bill Johnson he is a “Joe”, citizen just like you and me. He is a family man, business, Gulf war vet and a Reagan conservative Republican. He quit his full time job in the hopes of be able to make a difference not for himself, but for Kentucky and America. He is funding his campaign with his own life’s savings and donations from those that support him. He is a David among the Two Goliaths. He is a solid conservative in that believes in the Reagan principles of Government. He understands the rights of the unborn child. He is served his county in the Navy aboard a nuclear guided missile cruiser and nuclear aircraft carrier.. Bill will to go anywhere any time and answer questions on any issue and has not changed one single stand since he decided to run last summer. He is running a real in action Grassroots campaign, he has his supporters, none of which are wealthy, none of which have influence in high places. They are folks that understand what ethics and principles mean they are the true Reagan conservatives. They do not bow down to the politically correct; they do not bend when the wind blows. They stand firm on their beliefs. They have drawn a line in the sand. They are Reagan conservative Kentuckians.

Another is Trey Grayson to date Trey is our Sectary of the state of Kentucky. We hear very little from this candidate. I am giving an educated guess here but I think because he is the GOP nomination he feels he don’t have to campaign, don’t have to do press conferences; don’t have to answer questions left by potential voters like my self and three others here in my home, We do vote and we are Reagan Conservatives. If my readers remember I blogged about his supposed Town Hall meeting were I said, I left a message and they told me they would get back to me. To this date that has not happened. I suppose 4 potential votes don’t mean a thing to a man that figures he has this election already in the bag. At a fund raiser a dinner was $500.00 dollars a plate. Not a bad price to pay if you are the elite. This guy is getting millions from both the GOP and fund raisers on his behalf and don’t have to do anything for it , just show up.

Than of course there is Rand Paul son of Ron. You probably know him his is the anti-Semite, anti-government, anti- law, anarchists from Texas Congressman who ran for President. Rand is an eye surgeon from Bowling Green Kentucky although he is from Texas. “I have nothing against Texans. Some of my best friends and family members live there and so did I for 13 years”. Most Texans are wonderful people, just not Ron.

Rand is married as well and runs a very successful practice. Rand has received as of this writing around 1.5 million in donations. Mine you, most of those come from out of state. He has changed his issues pages so many times I give up trying to keep up with what is fashionable with him today. As of today he has dropped all reference to the Patriot act from his web site. He isn’t sure whether or not the Constitution protects the unborn and I could probably write a book on his flip flops. HUMM, I have to wonder why he flips and flops so much on the issues.

Glen Beck at one time described himself as a conservative but after 2 years of having the Paul’s both Ron and Rand on his program he apparently has changed his mind and is becoming one of them.

Just in case anyone don’t quite understand what a libertarian political view is let me educate you just a little in my own words. Libertarians want nothing to do with culture wars, think drugs and pornography should be legal, favor an isolationist foreign policy and generally believe in shrinking the government to about the size of a gnat -- all of which a real conservative finds appalling .

Rand has encircled himself with racist, libertarians and in general nut jobs. I wonder who will get thrown under the next Paul bus. Do Kentuckians really want this kind of man as our Senator? I certainly don’t!

I was just watching the 6:00 pm news on 36 and saw that Rand Paul did not personally file his paperwork to run for the U.S. Senate race here in Kentucky. There were some protesters in Frankfort wanting to ask him the hard question of why was he running on a Republican ticket when he was a Libertarian. Instead of being a man and answering their questions he actually ran off somewhere else and had someone on his campaign file the paperwork for him. Why wouldn’t he want to answer a simple question? The spokes person for the protest was going to pay his filing fee if he would simply come clean and file as the Libertarian he is.

“Run Rand Run” is a wonderful tag line for Rand Paul the pretend Republican. Come on Rand come clean with Kentucky and tell us who you really are we already know you are your fathers son. If you (G-d forbid) get elected are you going to run off the floor of the Senate when someone ask you the hard questions. It is a lot tougher up in Washington than it is here in Kentucky with a hand full of protesters

America never knowingly accepted socialism

I chose the above quote because it appears that this above statement has nearly come to pass in my generation. I am 55 years old. I grew up during the hippy movement of the 60’s and 70’s, one of the biggest anti government, toss out your morals, burn your bras, disobey your parents, do drugs the more the merrier and give out sex as if it were candy, anti war, anti nukes, hang up those outdated values and forget responsibility. It was an era of total rebellion among the youth against the authorities of parents and the establishment. One mantra was,” if it feels good do it” another,” stick it to the man” Protests were in vogue. We were taught be suspicious of everyone and everything. The public school systems were in full swing "dumbing" down its pupils. Johnny was no longer in need of learning how to read and Mary had no need of learning how to write. Social grade promotions were normal if you failed they still passed you, no one needed to earn grades. College entrance exams like the SAT test where shaved by as much as twenty points to allow certain minority students entrance. Education no longer focused on the needs of the individual but the group as a whole thus socialism took a deep root. We were being taught socialism in the guise of education , in order to be accepted you acted, thought and were taught to be apart of the group or you simply were not accepted.

The word,” sedition”, comes to mind when I think back on my teenage and college years. We were a generation taught in our schools by teachers who were indoctrinated in college to teach socialism. The media did their part by glamorizing this was the right thing to do. .Got to be hip or you are not cool The communist had infiltrated our colleges disguised as professors and those graduates took jobs as teachers in the public school all around the country. The nightly news began to lean towards the more liberal views and made sure it was viewed from that perspective. Movie stars like Jane Fonda sided with the communist of North Viet Nam and was proud of kicking and spitting on soldiers coming home from war in airports. These events were paraded on the T.V. nightly and it was rare that anyone complained. The silent majority were applaud but they said nothing and they did nothing.I believe this was one of the biggest commencements of the principal push towards socialism ever to be enacted in America and its impact is the results we are witnessing today. The best example I can think of is Barak Hussein Obama seated in the Oval office of the White House.

A large number of those seated in the House and Senate today are some of the same people that participated in the flower child, hippy movement. Nevertheless, they were voted into office and given power to governor us. I have often wondered if anyone ever checked out the conduct of those they voted for prior to their political careers. Past dealings show a lot about a person’s present character. Ever heard of the old saying," a leopard never changes their spots"?

Along with each new bill that is passed into law there is a yet another small annihilation of our freedoms; all the while eroding the heart of the Constitution and our liberties as citizens. Last year millions of guilt ridden Americans were driven greatly out of shame and voted for “Change “and that is what we got and about all we have left in our pockets.
I personally have no guilt nor will I accept it as a reason to vote for anyone running for an office. I vote for men and women with character and good judgment. I never owned a slave nor did anyone in my family, so why would I feel guilty for a problem inherited by America from our predecessors. I also voted for a Black man for president as a matter of fact he was a write in candidate here on our ballot in Kentucky. I still voted for him not because I felt any shame or guilt but because he holds the same kinds of morals and values as I do. His character is like gold and he is steadfast in his convictions. He has never falter nor wavered about what he stands for that man is Dr. Alan Keyes. He was abandoned by the Republican Party because he would not bend to the politics as usual stasis quo mentality that has taken deep roots in the party. It felt good not to hold my nose and cast a vote for a liberal posing as a conservative, one of the RINO’s that has infiltrated the Republican Party. I am referring John McCain.

I have heard it said,” you can’t tell the difference in the parties’ any longer”, and I agree you can’t. Just because someone changes parties’ dose not mean they have changed their hearts, their convictions or what they acknowledge as truthful. It is because they see an advantage either of gaining power or money to advance their own careers of course this might not be true in every case. I know there are true conversions that spend relentless hours working towards to good of our nation. I am one of them, but for the majority the change is in their registration voter card and in fact it is done for their own political gain and not a sincere conversion of the person. Consequently, the outcome is liberal Republicans running for office being back by the GOP and than being elected solely because they have an R beside their name on the ballots. We have to face the facts Americans are rather naive when it comes to politicians. Millions of dollars are spent each election both from the Republicans and Democrats. After all hardly any of them fulfill the empty promises they make while they are bidding for our votes. Do they? Think about it. Political speeches are designed to entice and excite the listeners and rarely give an honest illustration of the candidate.

Albert Einstein said, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. Become an educated voter; truthfully get to know the whole candidate before you cast that precious vote. Ask questions. Look them in the eyes while they answer you. Take a fine tooth comb to them like you would a dog with fleas and you might discover that they aren’t at all who they are portraying while bidding for your vote.

This is why I support a Bill Johnson. He is not a career Politician nor is he seeking power and money. He is running his campaign strictly from grassroots efforts. I have personally stuck his feet to the fire on every issue I can think of from health care to foreign policy and he stands firm on his convictions. He does not support government run health care nor does he believe we should be soft on present dangers out side the United States nor inside that could potentially cause us harm. He is a gulf war vet, business man husband, father and Christian who loves his country and with your vote he can help stop the nonsense coming out of Washington.
I urge you to take an honest look at this man he is the real deal here in Kentucky for the U.S. Senate seat.
We do live in perilous and dangerous times and we need someone with a strong sense of commitment and dedication that will not buckle under pressure.

Trey Grayson's Town Hall meeting NOT

On Monday night I took an hour of my time and listened in on a town hall meeting conference call for Trey Grayson. It was more of a laughing matter than a meeting. First,I felt most of the questions were scripted. All his answered were canned I felt like I was stuck in a loop. Later there was a young child with a vocabulary the size of a Philadelphia lawyer. I found that both amazing and amusing. His question was about Health Care as were most of them on the call. I know that question was scripted because I could hear the paper the child was reading from rattling in the phone. The entire question took around 2 minutes to complete.

Another thing I found rather strange about this so called,
"Town Hall Meeting", was that every five or six minutes they would take a poll. Polls are nice and I like them; I even take them and give my honest answer all the time However, they asked if you wanted to volunteer for the campaign or donate money and later they added , did you want a yard sign or a bumper sticker. This went all throughout the call. It was very distracting and there were only a few questions even asked for the full hour.

My take on this was it was nothing more than a recruiting effort and fund raiser for Trey Grayson.

Every answer Trey gave to the few questions that did get asked seemed very much scripted. I got on the call a few minutes before it started and was put in Que but I suppose they didn't like my two fold question , Why would I vote for you instead of the other candidates and where do you stand on illegal immigration? At the end of the call I was told to ask my question and leave my contact information and someone would get back to me .. that has not happened as of yet. If they do I will be sure to update this entry of my blog via a comment.

The entire call as far as I am concerned was a big waste of a perfectly good hour of my time. Needless, to say I will not be casting a vote for Trey Grayson. I see him as a career politician not a concerned citizen of Kentucky.

I just finished reading a newsletter from my Congressman Geoff Davis here in Kentucky. 

For a transparent administration they are certainly doing a heck of a lot to things behind closed doors up there in Washington. I can’t see though a closed door nor can anyone else I know. 

The health care issue was number one on his list of topics in the newsletter. It seems that Pelosi spent over time rewriting the new bill H. R. 3692 it  has turned into an unabridged dictionary in size containing 1900 pages and contains somewhere around 400,000 words and is twice a big as the first one H.R. 3200.  This new bill comes with a hefty TRILLION DOLLAR Price tag around 1.2 over the next ten year. That is the estimated cost according to analysts done by the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office committee. The odd thing here is the bill’s name is,”the affordable health care bill for America” I suppose a few more trillion might make it unaffordable? At what point is is just too much money? 

I guess Obama has no rules for himself even when he is the one making them. He will be breaking his own rules with this one if he passes it his “target” budget is only $900 billion for health care reform legislation. Hint more taxes, even less care, bigger less effective government but a lot more of it. Medicare will get more cuts, there will be more unfunded mandates and around 110 new boards, and the list goes on and on. I haven’t finished reading it yet, although it going to make good bathroom material. Was it a big mistake, for the American people to ask that they start over? We asked for a better more affordable health care system and we got 1900 pages to digest. I suppose the next step is to rush for a vote before the ink is completely dry on the pages.

This will increase taxes for any one making $250,000 or less, they are now targeting the lower middles class. Small businesses and families will not able to afford health care. I am not a genius and I admit I sometimes might not be the sharpest tool in the shed. However, I believe this will cause more jobs lost because businesses simply won’t be able to afford to pay the taxes and be able to offer health care to their employees nor will they be able to expand and hire new ones.Please Ms. Pelosi don't help us anymore we can't afford your kind of help!!!

Republicans have made numerous suggestions regarding health care reform but they are all falling on deaf ears. I wonder if a hearing aid for Pelosi is included in this new monster bill she has created?  I give Senate Mitch Mc Connell (R) from Kentucky a big kudos; he has been to the house floor speaking on the issues more than 50 times. The Media isn’t talking about that and the Democrats are ignoring any suggestions made by the Republicans. Simple steps would be a much better solution in my opinion. TARP reform is a simple step that would save millions each year. Don’t get me wrong I am not against health care reform but what I am against is insanity and this bill is insane.

It is obvious by now that none of the stimulus we have spent is working.  Our unemployment rate is about to tip the 10% mark in some states an as high as 24% in others. How is that for stimulating the economy? When will the government get a clue, you cannot throw money at a problem to fix it?

Pandering for the conservative vote in Kentucky

We all know politics can be a dirty game and even here in Kentucky we have those that are cloaked as a Republican’s but at heart are Libertarians or liberals that have infiltrated the Republican Party. Every state has its RINOS, (republican in name only) of course if you look into their voting records it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see what they really are. Ron Paul sure duped many Texans and found himself elected; now his son Rand thinks he can pull the wool over the eyes of conservative Republicans here as well in the Kentucky race for U.S. Senate. Trey Grayson sold out the GOP years ago and continues to sell out his fellow Kentuckians. There is a lot of folk’s pandering for the conservative vote in the coming 2010 elections in every state .Let’s look at some facts about the so called pro-life stand Rand Paul takes.

And on abortion, Paul expressed discomfort with federal laws but said he “probably” would have voted for a federal ban on a procedure that has been called partial-birth abortion by its opponents. ( probably?? So he thinks it might be a bad idea to suck the brains out of a child during delivery!!! I think they call that murder!

He acknowledged such a position conflicts with his states-rights position but said, “Some things may be so primary that we have to consider protection at the federal level.”Primary?? So the right to live is a primary issue!! Here I was thinking it was a God given right and let me see don’t that old document called the Constitution say something about “unalienable rights of Life, Liberty and Property”?
If Rand can’t decide what he believes even before the primaries that what kinds of decisions will he make if he were to be elected? Maybe he could just not vote at all like many of them do. A senator’s vote can’t be” undecided” like an internet poll.

Rand is counting on the younger generation to cast their uninformed ballots for him because he talks a good talk and says exactly what they want to here. No matter how you slice it he is still his fathers son.

We have a little known” Reagan conservative” also running for U.S. Senator here in Kentucky and he isn’t running on his fathers coat tail of connections, or pandering to the beliefs he does not hold himself , he is running simply because he loves his country and because he cares about Kentucky and understands the socialistic agenda that has been set by the new administration in Washington . His name is Bill Johnson. Before you cast your vote in May next year please do yourself and your fellow Kentuckians a small favor and check out all the candidates’ before you vote. I for one support Bill Johnson for U.S. Senate. He is a solid “Reagan conservative” like most Republicans here in Kentucky.

Do you remember this TRUE story from March this year? Read down till you find out how it ended.

This is totally crazy and it should make you want to slap the hell out of the
idiots in Washington DC from Obama all the way down.

Georgia Arms is the 5th largest retailer of .223 Ammo in America . They sell
9mm, .45, .223 ammunition. They normally buy spent brass from the US
Department of Defense. Spent brass is "one time used" shell cases used by our
Military for training purposes.

They buy the brass, recondition it, and then reload the brass for resale to
Law Enforcement, Gun Clubs, Gun Shops, and stores like Wal-Mart. They normally
buy 30,000 lbs of spent brass at a time.

This week the DoD wrote a letter to the owner of Georgia Arms and informed
him that from now on the DoD will be destroying the spent brass, shredding it.
It will no longer be available to the ammo makers, unless they buy it in a
scrap shredded condition (which they have no use for).

The shredded brass is now going to be sold by the DoD to China as scrap
metal, after the DoD pays for it to be shredded. The DoD is selling the brass
to China for less money than the ammo makers have been paying, plus the DoD
has to pay to have the brass shredded and do the accounting paperwork.

This sure helps the economy now doesn't it? Sell cheaper to China , and do not
sell at all to a proven US business. Any hidden agenda working here? Obama
going after the Firearms Industry and our ammunition!!

The Georgia Arms owner even related a story that one of his competitors had
already purchased a load of brass last week. The DoD contacted him this week
and said they were sending someone over to make sure it was destroyed. Shell
cases he had already bought!

The brass has no value to the ammo maker if it is destroyed/shredded/melted.
The ammo manufacturer only uses the empty brass cases to reload different
calibers, mainly .223 bullets.

The owner of Georgia Arms says that he will have to lay o ff at least half of
his 60 workers, within 2-3 months if the DoD will no longer sell spent brass
cases to the industry. Georgia Arms has 2-3 months of inventory to use, by
summer they're out.

If the Reloading Industry has to purchase new manufacture brass cases, then
the cost of ammunition will double or even triple, plus Obama want to add a
500% tax on each shell.

This situation has been resolved.

DOD rescinded the order after a firestorm of criticism--which began almost immediately when they issued a directive to mutilate all expended military brass before it could be sold to the civilian reloading market.

Is your chruch separated from the State

I have thought about writing about this topic for a very long before actually putting it on my blog. So, today is the day I set a challenge to those that might read it and hopefully see what I have seen for a very long time.

The separation of church and state is a legal and political principle derived from the First Amendment to the United States Constitution, which reads, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof" . . .
this does not in any way convey or prohibit churches , pastors nor any religious leader from taking a political stand on an issue. It simply means that the state cannot establish a state lead religion.

It was the IRS that actually banned religious leaders from taking a political stand against or for a candidate . So, is it fear of the loss of their church's tax exempt status that keeps their mouths shut or something else. They are supposed to be spiritual leaders and how can they lead people if they don't speak out about things like abortion,gay marriage, unfair taxes, health care and the like. These are all signs of the spiritual corruption of our nation and should be talked about openly with our religious leaders.

They don't seem to have a problem telling us when we have sinned or that we should give them our tithe. Another question is are they trusting the G-d they supposedly serve to supply their needs and the needs of the religious communities they serve or is it that "tax free money" that is of more importance .

Many of the founders of these United States were pastors with deep political convictions two in particular come to mind Peter and Frederick Muhlenberg. Frederick was elected to the US Congress and became the first Speaker of the House of Representatives. He was also the first signer of the Bill of Rights.

It is time for our spiritual and religous leaders of America to stand up and speak out about the issues . The unjust laws that are passing, the socialism that is spreading like wild fires in every facet of our lives. These are our freedoms that are being attacked by every liberal in political power. Our right to keep and bear arms, freedom of speech, the freedom of religion and everything else contained in the Constitution.

Will our religious leader help to keep these liberties our forefathers fought and died so that we could live in a free country not fearing the government or they can stay silent and keep their "tax free money", only they can decide.

In September 2008 several courageous pastors had the guts to defy the IRS and speak out from the pulpits "according to the Scriptures." actually telling them who to vote for.

Being spiritual dose not mean we have no earthly responsibilities. Godly people should be the ones running the country if we were truly foundered on the principals found in the bible. We can take back our nation when our spiritual and religious leaders to whom we look to for guidance drop the fear of having to pay taxes like the rest of us and take a stand in the political arena. For them to just vote is not enough.

This is a wake up call.

As Obama and his troupes descend on the town hall meetings pushing for his health care reform the media is directed to a staged show much like the election. This was sent to me by a friend in Bozeman , MT who was there.

Hello All,

By now you have probably heard that President Obama came to Montana last Friday. However, there are many things that the major news has not covered. I feel that since Bill and I live here and we were at the airport on Friday I should share some facts with you. Whatever you decide to do with the information is up to you. If you chose to share this email with others I do ask that you DELETE my email address before you forward this on.

On Wednesday, August 5th it was announced locally that the President would be coming here. There are many groups here that are against his healthcare and huge spending so those groups began talking and deciding on what they were going to do. The White House would not release ANY details other than the date. They have asked their name be left out for personal reasons.

On about Tuesday Bill found out that they would be holding the "Town Hall" at the airport. (This is only because Bill knows EVERYONE at the airport) Our airport is actually located outside of Belgrade (tiny town) in a very remote location. Nothing is around there. They chose to use a hangar that is the most remotely located hangar. You could not pick a more remote location, and you can not get to it easily. It is totally secluded from the public.

FYI: We have many areas in Belgrade and Bozeman which could have held a large amount of folks with sufficient parking. (gymnasiums/auditoriums). All of which have chairs and tables, and would not have to be SHIPPED IN!! $$$$$

During the week, cargo by the TONS was being shipped in constantly. Airport employees could not believe how it just kept coming. Though it was our President coming several expressed how excessive it was, especially during a recession. $$$$$

Late Tuesday/early Wednesday the 12th, they said that tickets would be handed out on Thursday 9am at two locations and the president would be arriving around 12:30 Friday.

Thursday morning about 600 tickets were passed out. However, 1500 were printed at a Local printing shop per White House request. Hmmmm......900 tickets just DISAPPEARED.

This same morning someone called into the radio from the local UPS branch and said that THOUSANDS of Dollars of Lobster were shipped in for Obama. Montana has some of the best beef in the nation!!! And it would have been really wonderful to help out the local economy. Anyone heard of the Recession?? Just think...with all of the traveling the White House is doing. $$$$$ One can only imagine what else we are paying for.

On Friday Bill and I got out to the airport about 10:45am. The groups that wanted to protest Obama's spending and healthcare had gotten a permit to protest and that area was roped off. But that was not to be. A large bus carrying SEIU (Service Employees International Union) members drove up onto the area (illegal)and unloaded right there. It was quite a commotion and there were specifically 2 SEIU men trying to make trouble and start a fight. Police did get involved and arrested the one man but they said they did not have the manpower to remove the SEIU crowd.

The SEIU crowd was very organized and young. About 99% were under the age of 30 and they were not locals! They had bullhorns and PROFESSIONALLY made signs. Some even wore preprinted T-shirts. Oh, and Planned Parenthood folks were with them.....professing abortion rights with their T-shirts and preprinted signs. (BTW, all these folks did have a permit to protest in ANOTHER area)

Those against healthcare/spending moved away from the SEIU crowd to avoid confrontation. They were orderly and respectful. Even though SEIU kept coming over and walking through, continuing to be very intimidating and aggressive at the direction of the one SEIU man.

So we had Montana folks from ALL OVER the state with their homemade signs and their DOGS with homemade signs. We had cowboys, nurses, doctors you name it. There was even a guy from Texas who had been driving through. He found out about the occasion, went to the store, made a sign, and came to protest.

If you are wondering about the press.....Well, all of the major networks were over by that remote hangar I mentioned. They were conveniently parked on the other side of the buildings FAR away. None of these crowds were even visible to them. I have my doubts that they knew anything about the crowds.

We did have some local news media around us from this state and Idaho . Speaking of the local media...they were invited. However, all questions were to be turned into the White House in advance of the event. Wouldn't want anyone to have to think off the top of their head.

It was very obvious that it was meant to be totally controlled by the White House. Everything was orchestrated down to the last detail to make it appear that Montana is just crazy for Obama and government healthcare. Even those people that talked about their insurance woes........the White House called our local HRDC (Human Resource and Development Committee) and asked for names. Then the White House asked those folks to come. Smoke and mirrors...EVERYTHING was staged!!!!!!!!!!!

I am very dismayed about what I learned about our current White House. The amount of control and manipulation was unbelievable. I felt I was not living in the United States of America , more like the USSR !! I was physically nauseous. Bill and I have been around when Presidents or Heads of State visit. It has NEVER been like this. I am truly very frightened for our country. America needs your prayers and your voices. If you care about our country please get involved. Know the issues. And let Congress hear your voices again and again!! If they are willing to put forth so much effort to BULLY a small town one can only imagine what is going on in Washington DC . Scary!!

Yesterday as I watched a portion of the morning news I saw a clip from one of the town hall meeting. I had to laugh but in reality it wasn’t really funny. My laughter was towards the reporter not the situation.
In the clip of the town hall meeting. Several people showed their anger against Obamas plan.The journalist said, the men are crazy and out of control because they raised their voice in opposition to the Obama socialized medicine plan. If you have actually done your own due diligence with this bill you would or should be outraged too.

First of all the journalist is not qualified to make a statement like that and second she is suppose to be a journalist not a commentator. She should not even give her personal opinions she should have been reporting the news.

I consider the whole Obama care plan crazy and I do not want the government to take control of my medical needs; I find it crazy to allow the government to say when it’s time to pull the plug on our elderly and yes even me if I go the hospital too many times.

Daschle says health-care reform “will not be pain free.” Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them. (So if you have high blood pressure or need a pace maker do you get it ?} That means the elderly will bear the brunt.” This plan says who lives and who dies. Now that is crazy!!

virtures of a woman of G-d

In today's society, the perception of a woman and the role she plays has changed This has not happened over thousands of years, but in the last 3o.

In the early years of my life-time, the society at least, still affirmed and had an understanding of the wife, mother and woman with those excellent qualities of the woman and wife given in the Biblical book of Proverbs 31. Today, society has ignored the principles of the model and standards described thereof and therefore left many women wondering what their roles in life, family and society are. God made men and women differently and I am sure He had good reasons and intentions. Women are not less than men, but they are different as they should be. Women are made of emotions and are nurturing by nature whereas men are strong physically and in most cases do not show their emotions quite as easily as women do. There are many similarities but each has some distinct and special traits that make them man or woman. God made us that way for some reasons.

Stop and think of the kinds of women we honor today! Who are the prototypes and who are the modern day super-women? If we were to design the perfect woman today, what would she be like? Today's woman is glamorous! According to Hollywood, a woman has to have a perfect body and be beautiful even if this means surgery, she is shrewd and cunning, competitive an over-achiever and self-centered. She sounds more like a man in many ways.

Let me explain my findings.

She would work, she is building on her career, and therefore she demands and gets equal pay with men. There is nothing wrong with equal pay if she can do the same job as a man. In some cases, submitting to her husband would be out of the question, she would demand equality with him in everything. Submission does not mean being a hand-servant; rather it means she is to be his “help-mate”. The man should be the head of the household and the leader of the family; not the boss. This perfect woman of today has her own money and her own bank account and spends it as she likes. She might have an affair and a divorce if her needs

were not being met accordingly. Today's woman might even go as far as getting an abortion! She would be very independent. Her personal goals would always come first even if there were at variance with her children and her husband's needs. Today's woman hires in help for the house work and calls in designers to do the decorating. The family eats out or food is brought home as fast food. Cooking and cleaning are those things she would never think of doing. She works 8-10 hours a day. Her fulfillments would be her first priority. For this woman, it is “all about me and me alone”. This woman is a million light years away from the God fearing woman as described in Proverb 31.

How did we get here? Easy, the answer is the feminist movement. This movement has caused women to lose their real identity and sense of what a woman should be. Women were not meant to be like men, neither are they inferior, but are graciously different. They think differently, more emotional than physical, and compassionate by nature than men. Women have God given characteristics that make them women and never men. Just as men have characteristics that make them men, and not women.
For thousands of years, women that feared and reverenced God cut the picture of the virtuous and noble woman described in Proverbs 31.

These women knew this poem and taught it to their families. It was traditionally recited in the Jewish home every week on the eve of the Sabbath. Both the boys and girls knew this poem very well.

When we look at the woman described in Proverbs 31, we do not find a housewife rattled by the daily demands of being women nor do we find an over-achiever who has become hardened and one that leaves the family to fend for them.

Instead we find a caring, strong, elegant, dignified, multi-talented individual in her own right. This woman has investments, she has servants to keep busy and she also has real estate to manage. This woman is a partner to her husband and he trusts her completely with their goods, lands and property. She is his help-mate not his slave, his wife and the mother of his children and she knows who she is and understands what it means to be woman, wife, mother and citizen.

This woman has business skills, is charitable and kind. This woman energetically takes on new challenges and gains the respect of both her husband and her children. First and foremost, she looks to God’s will and not her own for her life and understands how only He can truly fulfill her needs.

I would now like to take you through each trait that this woman with noble character has, as shown to us in Proverbs 31. “This woman” is an ideal example of a woman.

Pro 31:10 - A woman of velour who can find? For her price is far above rubies. The Hebrew word chayil, translated here "noble," or "virtuous" (KJV), means a wife of valor — a strong, capable woman with strong convictions

Pro 31:11 - The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, and he hath no lack of gain. Her husband trusts her to manage the family resources. She is industrious and adds to the family income.

Pro 31:12 - She doeth him good and not evil all the days of her life.

She is steady. She is both reliable and dependable. It does not depend on how she is treated by others.

Pro 31:13 - She seeketh wool and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.

This woman enjoys working and plans ahead for what she needs in order to meet her responsibilities to her family.

Pro 31:14 - She is like the merchant-ships; she bringeth her food from afar.

This woman will not settle for the mediocre she goes the extra mile for quality and looks until she finds it and gets it for the best price.

Pro 31:15 - She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth food to her household, and a portion to her maidens. She understands good managers have a responsibility to take care of those under their authority. She leads by example.

Pro 31:16 - She considereth a field, and buyeth it; with the fruit of her hands, she planteth a vineyard. Her goals are not short term — she envisions the long-range benefits of her decisions she is not fickle nor dose she act on a whim. She thinks things through before making a decision.

Pro 31:17 - She girdeth her loins with strength, and maketh strong her arms.

She is healthy and strong by proper health practices and good diet, adequate rest and exercise.

Pro 31:18 - She perceiveth that her merchandise is good; her lamp goeth not out by night. She is self-confident and takes pride in doing a good job. Her family needs not to worry for her responsibilities are taken care of she has her priorities in order.

Pro 31:19 - She layeth her hands to the distaff, and her hands hold the spindle.

She develops her talents and hones her skills through education and diligent application. She really enjoys growing and learning new things.

Pro 31:20 - She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. She not only donates to the needy this means far more. This woman shows personal concerns. She visits the sick, and lonely folks she takes food to those in need.

Pro 31:21 - She is not afraid of the snow for her household; for all her household are clothed with scarlet. Providing clothing for her family is her responsibilities. She takes this seriously, and plans. She knows before the time comes when she is going to be needing shoes for the kids, winter clothes so she starts looking before hand. This gal plans ahead.

Pro 31:22 - She maketh for herself coverlets; her clothing is fine linen and purple.

This woman has high standards and dresses properly for the occasion. She does not need to show off. Her clothing does not need to draw attention from others. She knows it is not so much how she looks on the outside but on in side that truly counts.

Pro 31:23 - Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land. His husband does not worry about what was going on at home because his wife takes care of the affairs there; his success was as much from her and their success came from the support of each other. She makes many of the day-to-day decisions concerning their property and goods. Her husband trusts her to manage their estate well.

Pro 31:24 - She maketh linen garments and selleth them; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. This woman has a business at her home. However, her efforts she adds to the family income. It is not about me it is about us.

Pro 31:25 - Strength and dignity are her clothing; and she laugheth at the time to come. This woman understands the benefits of being wise and diligent; she knows it holds lifetime benefits and rewards for her.

Pro 31:26 - She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and the law of kindness is on her tongue. She is well read and knows the facts. She can discuss anything. She is able to express herself intelligently, tactfully and diplomatically. Folks like to come to her for advice.

Pro 31:27 - She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. She is an organized, energetic person she gets things done.

Pro 31:28 - Her children rise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. She is not a doormat; she works hard to please her family. Her children honor her at home. Here we see the character of her husband as well. He teaches their children to respect mom and her virtues.

Pro 31:29 - Many daughters have done valiantly, but thou excellest them all.

This woman earns high praises for being extraordinary and a great role model.

Pro 31:30 - Grace is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. Here we see the key to what makes this woman effective. Her priorities are determined by God’s will, not her own. Her real concerns are what God thinks, other than what others may think. Physical beauty and clever conversation are admirable qualities. This woman does not depend on outward beauty and charm for her success. She recognizes and understands completely her need for God.

Pro 31:31 - Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her works praise her in the gates. This woman is active; she works the walk and does not just give lip service. She does not have to boast about what her plans are for the future or her successes of the past. They are obvious.

No one woman has all these wonderful qualities of a Godly and virtuous woman as described here. Nevertheless, each one of us as a woman can look to her as our role model and permit God to shape and mold us into her likeness.

My intention here is not to make us feel bad about ourselves, but to shed light on what I believe women are suppose to be. My opinion is however, not based on man's standards, but upon God's standards according to His word. It is my heart desire to do what God says and to be at least, a shadow of this woman we see as a true woman of virtue. I wish this should be the desire of every fellow woman too!
